The Seminole County Regional Chamber of Commerce is committed to being an active member of the Seminole County and Central Florida community and government entities. To accomplish our level of involvement and effectiveness, we need strong partners. Our Chamber is heavily involved in and supported by other quality organizations, events, economic development initiatives, public education, and much more. Seminole County Public Schools ![]() Seminole County Public Schools represents and oversees the schools in Altamonte Springs, Casselberry, Lake Mary, Longwood, Oviedo, Sanford, and Winter Springs. As of August 2005, there were over 67,000 students enrolled in our schools. We employ over 9,000 Central Florida workers, 4,700 of which are teachers. We strongly believe in building upon a strong intrastructure and have spent more than $450 million on renovation and construction within the past 10 years. In the past five years we have spent more than $39 million on technology for schools and classrooms.
